Hi Pete Liam here. Unfortunately I have had to go overseas at short notice so can’t make the 4th or 5th.
Please try calling Paul Russell on 61417864996 if you want to chat with a fellow Dons fan. Or maybe post on the AFC Wimbledon International Facebook page. Once again apologies for not being able to see you.
Oh no, sorry to miss you Liam. Have been having the most relaxing but amazing time in the Adelaide Hills, staying on our friends’ winery in Verdun, his brother’s in McLaren Vale, lunch at Star of Greece and dip in the sea in Woolunga.
Hi Pete, glad you are enjoying yourself. South Australia is certainly a good place for wine. This time last week I was showing friends from the UK around the Barossa Valley. Try Coriole in McClaren Vale if you get a chance.
Hope you manage to survive the heatwave coming on the weekend. Fingers crossed for the Dons on Saturday. Regards Liam.
Thanks Liam. We’re staying on a friend’s vineyard (seen kangaroos, koala and kookaburra on their property), and went to see a Shiraz crop being processed at his brother’s winery (Smidge) in McLaren Vale. All amazing. Great meal at Star of Greece and swimming in the stunning sea at Willunga. This weekend at their beach “shack” in Hardwicke Bay. Loving South Australia! A real shame not to see you here 🙁
Hi Pete Good to know you are having a good time. I arrive back this weekend but I imagine that you will have left by then.
Might see you in April. To witness the Great Escape ☺️🤞

So yesterday’s win over Doncaster keeps our hope of survival alive. Will probably need at least six and probably seven wins to stay up. Huge task, but not impossible given some of the teams we have yet to play. Must admit I wasn’t convinced that Wally Downes was the best appointment, but he has brought in some decent players and got rid of Trotter, and got some decent results along the way, especially the win over the Hammers. In particular, Aaron Ramsgate in goal has been excellent from the reports I have read, and seems to have been instrumental in yesterday’s result.
Dum Spiro, Spero!
