    Yup it is Windlesham.
Unfortunately for all fans in the UK the system has two checks. One you can work around (by using a VPN in a foreign country, they won’t know the Internet IP address of your location, but this does have inherent risks.) The second works for them because card numbers and Bank Accounts are identifiable by country of issue.…[Read more]

ifollow is not the easiest to ‘follow’ even from abroad gentlemen. Living in South Carolina, USA, I can of course get a Match Pass, and most but not all live matches.
However, it seems that to get a Match Pass, there is no hard and fast rule when the option appears on the ‘Match Centre’ screen. So far it has appeared a week beforehand but…[Read more]

Big thank you to Singapore and Windlesham for the detailed reports. It’s when I read stuff like this that I am inclined to feel a little guilty of lambasting NA so much, especially over the last six games and during this closed season.
Apart from Shea (which I confess still niggles… a lot, and whose stats will be observed and compared intently…[Read more]

Small South London Club seeks Legend.
Must possess a head as high as Tom Elliot’s, have the dedication of James Shea, the Play-making skills of Jake Reeves, the assuredness of Danny Kedwell, and the presence of Vinnie Jones.
Salary not negotiable but comes with free Bacon Butties, shares in Jelly Babies, 1/11th share in club car (Austin A40),…[Read more]

George who? for goalie… (apparently “things didn’t work out for him at Sheff Utd last season”).
And after the inevitable loss of our best player (not to mention numbers two three and four) we are now “looking at some midfield players” during pre-season… meaning we didn’t get that target either….
    Mutter… mumble… mutter… mumble…
    Odds…[Read more]

What a faux pas that really was letting Shea go.
With no obvious reason for his leaving the club, one has to wonder if there was some sort of backroom tiff. Perhaps NA advised Shea that he was replacing him as No.1 goalie (for the third time). It’s all very bewildering and frustrating at times.
I note that we are 4/1 for relegation…. same price…[Read more]

Well, I wasn’t 100% about Tom Elliot but I am 100% about Jake Reeves. We simply don’t have anyone else of his calibre As a playmaker he was pivotal (as stated by others here.) What with throwing out Shea, (still one of NA’s worst ever decisions in my opinion), right now I think we are up that rather smelly creek.
They say things come home to…[Read more]

Oh Dear… Isn’t there some proverb about not throwing the baby out with the water… or at least not throwing Shea out before making sure you have a replacement? What with Bursik almost certain to be lost too, I wonder how our Kiwi now feels about being in the gun-sights of the opposition (and potentially our fans) next season?
    On a better note,…[Read more]

So, another academy player to be sold off…. Who’d have thought we’d sell our future to raise cash for more duds…?

“A harder challenge awaits us next season…” Never a truer word said than these by Colum (IMHO).
After recent efforts and my intense frustration with the lack of game time for the rising stars… especially since most of the rest of the squad has already gone on holiday, means that I didn’t even bother to try and make today’s game on air….…[Read more]

This is always such a good forum for informed views. I sometimes wish I had some of my own to contribute!
However, having already said my piece on who I think goes and who we should keep, I’d just like to add that on reading Erik’s report about NPL progress, and knowing quite a bit about the planning process and the construction industry; it…[Read more]

Well… trust me to have to work on the day we probably ensured our League One survival and with the sort of typical crazy five minutes of football we seem to have a flair for producing (on occasion).
I say “probably ensured” because of course it’s still technically possible for us to get relegated. However, looking back on the last twenty years…[Read more]

Wonderful reports this morning guys. Thank you. It’s what makes this forum the best.
I would have given my right nut to have been there last night. The result would have been worth it. Alas (sort of), I had to make do with the virtual stadium and the entirely and rightly biased Radio WDON commentary, but, I wake this morning still filled with…[Read more]

7 from 9? Given the turnaround in fortunes and my general cynicism, I’d have to think NA’s grovelling thanks to the Board were for the rumoured re-instatement of a Sports Psychologist. Nevertheless, whatever they stumped up for (again), has clearly had a positive impact.
To add even more cynicism one would have to wonder if the enforced discovery…[Read more]

Being a Don in exile I am dependent on these excellent reports, and of course what I can glean from Radio WDON, iploughlane and other sources.
Sadly, from every one of them it is clear we seem to have fallen off a cliff.
In fact, while tuning in last night, I got so fed up with our banal, lacklustre, performance that even when we scored at the…[Read more]

I’ve kept my mouth shut for some time now about NA and his tactics, (hooray you say), but I cannot help think that it was his whole approach to the Sutton game that nearly cost us a chance to fight again. His pre-match interview and comments were highly cautious, even somewhat negative. I am sure it is that which filtered through to the players…[Read more]

You know… for me, the game changer was Jake Reeves. Watching online there was a distinct and repeated shout from him to crowd the CA goalie as he set up for the corner that lead to the breakthrough. He did the same thing for the second.
I figure he had twigged during that 70th minute melee that the CA goalie was vulnerable when pressured. I…[Read more]

Sigh…. So we wake up this morning to the inevitable news that Robinson of the unmentionables is almost certainly out of a job. Shame, he was doing such a good job for us. I can only hope they give the job to losing US presidential candidate Donald Trump so that he can use his money to bring in some US ‘football’ stars from the NFL (ahem) and…[Read more]

You know…. of all things AFC Wimbledon recently, the news item that I find most heartwarming is the return of Seb Brown to the club.
He is one of the cornerstone reasons why we are where we are today. I hope he finds a great future with the club.

Thoroughly enjoyed the latest WDSA Newsletter. One of the best editions in my humble opinion.
You know, regarding our team’s performances lately I think we have been a little lucky… and I’m not talking about whether it was a foul or penalty or not (it wasn’t), I’m talking about our goalmouth scrambles, which still frighten the hell out of me.
    I…[Read more]
