Another disastrous result! We’ve been in 9th or 20th position for months now. How have we been so lucky to maintain that? The teams below us must be dreadful.

Robbo may have blue and yellow blood in his veins, have ‘Wimbledon values’ and be a great guy, but surely with no league win in over three months it’s time for him to go. Every other club would have done this several matches back. It may cost us financially -though a lot less than a few years spent back in League two. Get in a temporary manager…[Read more]

Yup, I agree. He has not exactly set our football world on fire. While there are many reasons why we would struggle this season, the sheer consistency in the blandness points to a larger malaise. Bringing in someone cannot do any harm, as we are relegation bound at present.

As expected talisman Joe Pigott has declined to sign a new contract and is leaving the Dons on a free transfer, aiming for a Championship club.

It all ended without much fanfare – an all-in social media blackout to support anti-racism saw to that – but the Dons have survived the drop and will play in their sixth campaign in League One next season.
It was all a strangely flat muted outcome given the months we have all pored over the table permutations to check how many points the Dons…[Read more] -

Good time @AlexWoodyard1 to score your first goal for the club, and as you say your most important one. Let's not wait too long for next one, eh? pic.twitter.com/rkXjK0waoo

Certainly is some turnaround, MacWomble… Looks as though Mark Robinson’s coaching/mindset is rubbing off on the players – many of whom were under him during their Academy years. Still five games left, we’re not over the line (yet)… but reasons to be optimistic.…[Read more]

What a turnaround! We can almost start to believe again. Well done to the squad for picking up from what seemed like certain relegation!

Though I’m an optimist, yesterday saw the light at the end of the tunnel extinguished. 97 minutes of football. 9 shots and not 1 on target. Rivals Bristol rovers managed 18. 9 on target. Look at the fixture list – can you see more than one win for AFCW? I can’t. I am tired of matchday disappointment that fans have had for almost all of the past 20…[Read more]
